About Gale Tots

I started GALE TOTS because I could not find what I was looking for, and I was tired of settling.

My son was little, and he loved everything on the fridge. I wanted letters there for him, things he could reach and come back to on his own. But every set I found felt like it belonged in a toy store, not in a home. Loud colours, plastic feel, the kind of thing that takes over a room. I lived in a small apartment where the kitchen, the living room, and everything else shared the same space. There was nowhere to hide them. And I did not want to.

So I made them myself.

But the real reason behind GALE TOTS goes deeper than the colours I chose. I believe a mother should not have to disappear when she becomes one. Not from her home, not from her sense of self. And I noticed something: when the objects in a home feel visually calm, the mother feels calmer too. Not because colour is wrong. Children learn from colour everywhere, in books, in nature, in food, in everything around them. But when everything is out, when the kitchen counter, the fridge, and the living room all share the same space, the colour of what stays out matters. It adds to the noise, or it does not.

GALE TOTS exists in that space. Tools designed to stay out, in soft tones that contribute to the harmony of the home rather than competing with it. When they stay out, the learning never stops. And when a mother looks at her space and still feels like herself, everyone is better for it.

Our goal is simple: to make tools that stay out, support your child's learning, and still make your home feel like yours.
